Tonya Hanks
Hello, my name is Tonya Hanks. This is my 21st year of teaching. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with my Masters in Education and received my Educational Specialist degree from Piedmont College. My family is a very busy bunch! We love the outdoors and you will often find us hiking, spending time on the lake or playing sports. I look forward to another wonderful year with the fantastic students and staff at SCES!!

Lauren Holmes
Hello! My name is Lauren Holmes, and I am thrilled to be entering my 15th year in education. Throughout my career, I have taught all grade levels from K-6 and held various roles over, with almost all of them being in Special Education.
My husband and I have been married for 15 years, and we have three children: Vera (10), Dean (8), and Rori (4). I am excited to join SCES as a comet and am dedicated to helping my students succeed by providing them with the necessary tools. In my spare time, you can likely find me at a football field or basketball court cheering on my kids, or hanging out with friends.

Jessica Rohgers
I am excited to join the Silver City family this school year! I began my teaching career in 2009 and have taught fifth grade, fourth grade, second grade, and first grade as a homeroom teacher. I moved into special education in 2022 and have served special education students in IRR in grades K-3. I am certified in elementary and special education and hold a bachelor's degree from Kennesaw State University and a Master's degree from Brenau University, where I also received a reading endorsement. I live in North Forsyth with my husband, Tommy, and our two sons, Wyatt (8) and Cash (6). In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with my loved ones, and crafting. I am very passionate about teaching and strive to create a positive and engaging environment where all children feel safe, loved and supported!
